Explain your view of state government’s role in relation to economic growth and/or job creation.
It is not the role of government to create jobs!
Government must protect property rights and level the playing field making the free enterprise system free, without undue taxes and regulations.
Explain your views regarding the roles state government and parents have in elementary and secondary education.
The educational system has become overburden by government regulations and requirements. Parents have been alienated from the school system and are starting to give up on the school system and the government that they live under.
What is one of the most satisfying things you have ever done or accomplished and what made it so satisfying to you?
My service to our country as a United States Soldier.
What personal qualities or experiences do you think will best serve you in your role as a state legislator?
My military experience and leadership abilities that I acquired. I still believe in the U.S. Constitution and it must be protected.
What bill passed in the last General Assembly that you would have voted against and why, or what bill did not pass in the last General Assembly that you wish had passed and why?
I opposed the raising of the seatbelt fine. We continue to lose our freedoms.
I sponsored a bill that would help law enforcement stop elder abuse but the bill died in finance committee due to lack of funding. I will try again next year.
