Explain your view of state government’s role in relation to economic growth and/or job creation.
The state should exercise facial responsibility. Maintain a high credit rating. Keep taxes low and continue to support higher education. Maintain infrastructure.
Explain your views regarding the roles state government and parents have in elementary and secondary education.
Parents need to have choices in their children's education. The state has done a great job with with Tennessee Promise and Drive to 55.
What is one of the most satisfying things you have ever done or accomplished and what made it so satisfying to you?
There are many but for twenty years I have provided employment. I have run a sound business, provide employee's a check every week as well as insurance to provide for their family's health. I provide vacation and paid holidays to spend quality time with their family; a retirement plan to insure their future after retirement.
I have supported education to give men a trade that will support them though their career.
What personal qualities or experiences do you think will best serve you in your role as a state legislator?
My extensive business knowledge and community service.
