Special Election for TN Senate District 22
Mark Green was sworn in on January 3, 2019, as congressman for the 7th District (Marsha Blackburn’s seat), leaving open the TN Senate District 22 seat, which covers Montgomery, Houston, and Stewart Counties. The General Election was held on April 23, 2019, and Republican Bill Powers won the seat.
Special Election for TN Senate District 32
Mark Norris took the position of federal judge in Western Tennessee, leaving TN Senate District 32 open, which covers Tipton County and parts of Shelby County. The General Election was held on March 12, 2019, and Republican Paul Rose won.
