What is one of the most satisfying things you have ever done or accomplished and what made it so satisfying to you?
Going from growing up in a small town in rural Tennessee to becoming an All-American basketball player at Indiana University under Coach Bob Knight and then playing in the NBA is something I'm really proud of. But it's been incredibly satisfying to come back to my hometown and (after getting my master's degree) becoming a teacher in the very school system I grew up attending when I was a kid and that my mom taught in before she passed away.

I learned about work ethic and the value of teamwork from playing basketball for Bob Knight at Indiana and for the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA. But I've learned about leadership while being a coach and teacher at Perry County High School.
