ESSAY QUESTIONS
Explain your view of state government’s role in relation to economic growth and/or job creation.
State government can play a major role in job creation by offering tax credits or other benefits to attack employers. It should carry goals that are to be accomplished if credits are awarded.
Explain your views regarding the roles state government and parents have in elementary and secondary education.
State government has the responsibility for aligning our standards so that our children learn necessary foundations to become successful adults. Parents play a key role in helping to make sure their child attends school and help select the schools that best fits the needs of the child. Also parents should be involved with activities at the school and with activities involving their child's education.
